Dancing Energies: Tuning in to Everyday Energy Intelligence
Professional training with CE credits We are bodies, but we are also energy. As physical and energy bodies, we interact with the greater energetic forces every day -- not only our the gravitational energy of the earth which literally keeps us grounded – but also our feelings, the feelings of others and the myriad of artificial energies that are spewed forth by our electronic devices and other technological advances.
No wonder we may feel energetically exhausted and depleted! In this training, instructed by Karen Carnabucci, LCSW, TEP, we introduce and review simple energetic activities for yourself and to share with your clients, students and others you work with. We pay special attention to the "tele" as defined by Dr. J.L. Moreno, the developer of psychodrama, and the phenomenon of "representative perception," as shown by Bert Hellinger in Family Constellations. You will learn:
Who will benefit This training is designed for mental health professionals and professional helpers, including social workers, marriage and family therapists, licensed counselors, addictions counselors, physicians, nurses, creative arts therapists, massage therapists and bodyworkers, alternative health practitioners, life coaches, educators, clergy, clinical supervisors, administrators, youth leaders, group leaders, graduate students and others interested in experiential psychotherapy and experiential learning. Tuition Tuition is $45 for the half-day training if registered by June 19, $55 after. It includes the program, three CE credits and psychodrama hours, handouts and healthy snacks. As always, there will be options to address personal growth work in a supportive setting and bring case studies forward for feedback and action supervision. You may register in one of two ways:
CE and psychodrama credits Karen Carnabucci, LCSW, TEP, and Companions In Healing are approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors to offer continuing education for social workers, marriage and family therapists and professional counselors according to Pennsylvania Board Approval #SWPR-004002. These training hours also may be counted towards the Certified Psychodramatist credential as approved by the American Board of Examiners In Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy. Training hours may be counted towards certification approved by the International Society of Experiential Professionals. You may be able to submit this certificate for credits in another helping discipline or in another state. Please contact your respective state board for information. Liberty Place is located at 313 W. Liberty St, Lancaster, Pa. , with convenient free parking in a large lot across the street. The building is located six blocks from the Lancaster Amtrak station and is accessible from Routes 501, 272, 72, 30, 222 and 283.
