Professional Ethics in Action: Honesty, Morality and Integrity in a Changing World
Professional training with CE credits
Our professional ethical codes of conduct help us preserve boundaries within our work, as well as our professional values. They give us a sense of competence and safety. They support our clients in feeling safe and respected and give our respective professional fields credibility and professionalism.
In this training workshop, instructed by Karen Carnabucci, LCSW, TEP, action methods help the usual “dry” topic of ethics come alive as we look at how our values guide the everyday aspects of our professional lives.
During the first half of this interactive training workshop, we will explore our relationship with basic ethical principles. There will be opportunities to bring case studies forward. This program includes the three hours of ethics programming needed for social workers and others for recertification or re-licensure.
During the afternoon segment of the workshop, we will explore the larger issues of honesty, morality and integrity in our shifting world, both inside and outside of our respective professional settings, including our political world, our families and other places. Topics will be determined by the members of the training group, according to what you bring.
In this interactive training workshop, you will learn:
