Therapeutic Spiral Model cards, as used in opening warm-up activity. The cards are used to concretize the role of the witness (also known as the observer role) as group begins. A set of cards is available for $30 plus shipping and handling; write here to inquire.
You may also use other kinds of commercial cards, as well as the fronts of greeting cards, postcards, photos or pictures from magazines that you have cut and mounted. However, always make sure that your images are uplifting and strengthening. The cards may or may not be arranged with scarves. The scarves may be used to represent three categories of strengths: personal, relational and spiritual -- although other items may be used as well. |
