Whole Person Marketing for Holistic Health Professionals
Professional training with psychodrama credits What if you acted as if you knew how to market yourself? Marketing and business building are often special challenges for holistic health professionals, who see their main skills as caring for people rather than navigating the rough and tumble world of business. Yet marketing is essential to business success, and professionals who know how to market themselves will see their businesses survive and thrive while others fade, struggle and fail. In this interactive training workshop, Karen Carnabucci, LCSW, TEP, will share key recommendations and ideas that she has learned from starting her own private practice in 1995 as a psychotherapist, coach and trainer and having built and rebuilt her practice three times, initially in Lancaster, Pa., in the 1990s, then in Racine, Wis., where she was an adjunct instructor teaching marketing practices to massage students at the Wisconsin School of Natural Wellness, and finally returning to Lancaster in 2016. Along the way, she has coached hundreds of professionals across the United States to use their natural creativity and spontaneity to build and expand their businesses. This workshop is open to helping professionals whatever your stage of practice. It is not the usual PowerPoint demonstration but rather a lively and interactive program using improvisation and the action techniques of psychodrama and sociometry and therefore will be of special interest to psychodrama students and others interested in action methods in education, psychotherapy, coaching and other professional disciplines. This program is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon at Liberty Place, 313 W. Liberty St., Suite 263, Lancaster, Pa. Tuition Tuition is $45, if reserved by Jan. 14, 2020, $55 after, and will include three psychodrama credits. Space is limited, and early registration is suggested. You will also have the option to address personal issues in a confidential setting and network with other professionals who are interested in experiential psychotherapy and experiential learning. Who will benefit This training is designed for mental health professionals and other professional helpers, including social workers, marriage and family therapists, licensed counselors, addictions counselors, physicians, nurses, creative arts therapists, massage therapists and bodyworkers, alternative health practitioners, life and wellness coaches, educators, clergy, clinical supervisors, administrators, youth leaders, group leaders, graduate students and others interested in experiential psychotherapy and experiential learning. Psychodrama credits These training hours may be counted towards certification with the American Board of Examiners In Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy. Training hours may be counted towards certification approved by the International Society of Experiential Professionals. Because the State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Licensed Professional Counselors does not recognize marketing topics as suitable for CE credits, they will not be offered for this program. However, you also may be able to submit this certificate for credits in another helping discipline or in another state. Please contact your respective state board for information.
