Finding Your Soul Purpose: Acting as Guide and Finding Your Place
Professional training with CE credits There is a Quaker saying, “How goes it with thy soul, my friend?”
Lovely words, for sure, but finding the way of the soul is not always clear to discern in the hubbub of today’s busy world. Yet the soul is close to psyche, and psyche is about psychology, and all of us yearn to connect with a higher purpose than day-to-day existence. In this interactive training workshop, instructed by Karen Carnabucci, LCSW, TEP, we will explore the various definitions of the “soul” and in particular look at how the phenomenological and experiential method of Family Constellations can offer a distinct way of finding what many call the “soul purpose.” The Family and Systemic Constellations phenomenological approach serves beautifully to explore the aspects of our soul's longing. In this training, you will learn how to:
The presentation will include lecture, experiential activities and demonstration, group discussion and handouts. There will be ample time for questions, discussion and case consultation, as well as the option to address personal issues in a confidential atmosphere. Tuition The fee for this training workshop is $85 if registered by Nov. 30 and $105 after. The tuition includes the training day; six CE credits for social workers, marriage and family therapists and licensed professional counselors; psychodrama credit hours toward psychodrama certification; handouts; and healthy snacks. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance to use in their respective organizations. This training day is suitable for: Mental health professionals, marriage and family therapists, creative arts therapists, addiction counselors, physicians and other medical professionals, personal and wellness coaches, educators, clergy, community and social activists, alternative health practitioners and others interested in experiential methods. Participants will have the option to address personal issues in a supportive and confidential setting, as well as bring past or present client cases forward for supervision. Liberty Place is located at 313 W. Liberty St, Lancaster, Pa. , with convenient free parking across the street. The building is located six blocks from the Lancaster Amtrak station and is accessible from Routes 501, 272, 72, 30, 222 and 283.
