Healing Ancestral Trauma with Psychodrama and Family Constellations

Why are the ancestors so important? And how do we begin to address and heal ancestral trauma?

In this three-hour online presentation for the Jacob and Zerka Foundation on May 7, Karen Carnabucci, LCSW, TEP, will discuss the importance of working with ancestors using the methods of psychodrama and Family Constellations, direct an experiential activity about our relationship to our ancestors, and answer questions about how psychotherapists, psychodrama practitioners and trainees – and anyone else interested – can add and expand themes of ancestry and experiential family systems in their work.

You will learn:
  • The essential differences between psychodrama and Family Constellations.
  • The Orders of Love, as defined by Family Constellations originator Bert Hellinger.
  • The benefit of body intelligence when working with ancestral trauma and healing.
This program offers three online psychodrama hours and CE credits for social workers, marriage and family therapists and professional counselors.
Proceeds benefit the Jacob and Zerka Moreno Foundation, a non-profit organization which supports education about psychodrama, sociometry and group psychotherapy and offers scholarships to the annual conference of the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama.
