Healing Ancestral Trauma with Psychodrama and Family ConstellationsWhy are the ancestors so important? And how do we begin to address and heal ancestral trauma?
In this three-hour online presentation for the Jacob and Zerka Foundation on May 7, Karen Carnabucci, LCSW, TEP, will discuss the importance of working with ancestors using the methods of psychodrama and Family Constellations, direct an experiential activity about our relationship to our ancestors, and answer questions about how psychotherapists, psychodrama practitioners and trainees – and anyone else interested – can add and expand themes of ancestry and experiential family systems in their work. Creative Marketing For Professionals in Psychodrama & the Creative ArtsCreative Marketing for Your Practice or Training Program for Psychodramatists, Creative Arts Therapists and Others will be offered to psychodrama certification candidates, psychodramatists at all level of practice and graduate students from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET at a date to be determined (postponed from Oct. 16).
This three-hour online workshop will explore common marketing struggles and pitfalls though interactive structures, teaching and discussion in large and small groups. Facilitators for this training are Karen Carnabucci, MSS, LCSW, TEP, and Rebecca Walters, M.S., LMHC, LCAT, TEP, both longtime board-certified trainers in psychodrama sociometry and group psychotherapy, who have much practical advice and hard-won wisdom about marketing and outreach to share with graduate students and helping and teaching professionals at every level of practice. The first half of the workshop will focus on experiential activities about marketing, particularly related to the needs of the group. The second half will build on that knowledge, with Karen leading the breakout group on marketing a psychotherapy practice and Rebecca leading the breakout group on marketing a training institute. This program is suitable for graduate and psychodrama institute students, candidates for all levels of psychodrama credentials, psychodramatists at all levels of experience, and creative arts therapists and coaches who use the creative arts and other experiential activities.
