Gisele Silva, LMT, is an adjunct instructor for the Lancaster School of Psychodrama and Experiential Psychotherapies. She incorporates her extensive training in various modalities in massage therapy and somatic bodywork to bring healing and restoration to people who have suffered physical, emotional and energetic trauma.
In addition to holding the credential of Licensed Massage Therapist, she is certified as a Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist and an Alchemical Alignment practitioner and teacher assistant and is an advanced student in Somatic Experiencing, the method developed by psychologist Peter Levine. Her work focuses on processing traumatic memory, calming the nervous system and releasing traumatic shock from the body to restore alignment in the body’s anatomy and physiology, which regenerates the body’s original potential. After spending almost three decades training and studying healing arts in both her native country of Brazil and the United States, she established her practice in Lancaster, Pa., in 2016. Since then, she has helped thousands of people to experience a greater sense of presence, balance and regulation in their lives, working both in person and with distance sessions. She has particularly worked with head trauma, including people who have suffered concussions, as well as those who have experienced pre-birth, birth and psychological trauma. Among her offerings are private 1-1 sessions as well as consultation with allied health practitioners, including psychotherapists, and teaching online and in-person classes. Her Biodynamic Craniosacral skills, years of head trauma work, intuition and practice allows a gentle, yet precise and expansive, way of working with the body. Learn more about Gisele here. |
