As part of our commitment to quality professional development, Lancaster School of Psychodrama and Experiential Psychotherapies is beginning the new year with a sliding scale program that is an important tool for social justice. The sliding scale plan is based on the nationally known Green Bottle, which acknowledges peoples' different financial experiences and allows participants to adjust payment based on their access to resources.

Adam Blatner, philosopher, bon vivant, cartoonist, singer, dancer, writer, psychiatrist, physician, promoter of playfulness, "Whizzard of Ah's," romantic, character, teacher, grandpopala, metaphysician, imaginologist, elf, psychodramatist, theoretician, etc., died x after a remarkably full, rich, eventful, many-faceted life. He succeeded in promoting a number of causes, developing a variety of ideas, including a fair number of original ones, networking up a storm, mentoring a good many folks, healing many others, and bringing out some extra magic in countless numbers by fostering song fests and other activities that celebrate the "child within." Talk to me about groups and I’ll talk to you about the 78th annual conference of the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama, coming up April 1-4 in Schaumburg, Ill. This year’s theme is “Here and Now: The Power and Effectiveness of Group Psychotherapy, Psychodrama and Sociometry.” This longtime conference will continue its traditions of internationally recognized speakers, workshops, ceremonies, entertainment, and silent and live auctions while introducing new cultural conserves, and this year there’s an extra emphasis focusing on the “group psychotherapy” part of the organization’s name, giving attention to the importance of group process and group skills. It's Spring, so I had fun putting together this gift basket for the silent auction at the upcoming 2017 conference of the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama from May 4-7 in Clearwater, Fla. I call this basket "Warm Up Fun," and it includes an assortment of items, including masking tape, Tarot cards, small sand tray items, a music CD, a journal and a package of colorful plastic eggs. Here's the protocol for creating a warm up with your group with the eggs:
